Cheap Face Spray? Yes Please!

So, I've never seen the point of dumping a ton of money to get a face spray that basically just freshens your skin up a bit and takes down any powderiness of your makeup. Can't you do that for cheap? I mean, what do you need? Some water, a humectant, a bit of caffeine...

Oh yeah, and a spray bottle!

Follow up:

My concoction is pretty simple. I brew some exceptionally strong green tea (which also has some other crap in it, Iunno, it's good stuff ;)), let that cool and fill half of a small misting spray bottle. I want to keep the batch small, because I don't want it going funky on me before I use it up!

To top off the other half of the bottle, I pour in a concoction of rose water and glycerin, found for about $3.50 CAD at a local drugstore.

It refreshes my skin, hydrates lightly and takes away any powdery appearance from my makeup. It's also wonderful at perking up products that are drying out a bit - in recent times, I've used it to rejuvenate my Ben Nye concealer and my Blacktrack fluidline, and both are much creamier as a result!

Total spent: $5, including the spray bottle, and I have enough stuff left over for another batch! What's not to love? ;) It does everything for me that another "fix" spray seem to, and at a much lower cost.

Just another edition of "I'm a cheapass, screw that expensive shit!" from my life to yours. Hope this helps!
