I've yet to be convinced of the big difference between mid-range lip pencils and cheapity-cheap ones. I have two each from MAC and NYX, and the only deciding factor on which one I'd reach for is colour. The NYX apply smoothly, are much larger and cheaper and offer some different colours.

These photos do no justice in showing how obscenely bright Pinky is. It works well with Hollywood Nights from MAC and other bright pink or fuchsia lipsticks. Ever tried them? I like lip pencils from Rimmel, too - bring on the cheap, yo!
