Amplified Creme Swatches!

A favourite formula for many, Amplified Cremes are richly pigmented, shimmer-free and have a touch of glossy shine to them. I personally find some to be very moisturizing, while others leave my lips parched (like Blankety, which looks like frigging DEATH on me). So many great colours, though!

Love Impassioned, as seen above, for it is so bright it is nearly neon.

Follow up:

By the way, today's swatches were done as the sun was setting, so some definitely have more natural light exposure than others. Oops!

Why is Craving showing up so much smaller than the others!? Whatevs, I blame dustbunnies (malicious creatures, you know). Craving is a plummy pink from MAC's permanent line which doesn't get nearly enough love - look how pretty it is!

Burnin' is a deep burgundy shade that was limited edition with 2007's Smoke Signals.

Profusion got discontinued earlier this year. Cryyyy! So pretty, srsly.

Vegas Volt - bright coral, whoa! Love it with Pink Grapefruit lipglass. Nom nom nom.

Melrose Mood. Caused a lot of stirring around it's release with Heatherette, it's kind of miserable to try to photograph truly. It's a very blue-toned pastel pink. I, uh, don't wear it full strength, with the obvious exception being this swatch photo. I'd look ill, dudes.

In reality, this is a peachy nude that's quite nice on. Here, it looks kind of poopy.

So Scarlet is my favourite lipstick in the whole world. No joke. I have two tubes! I believe the official description is "grape burgundy".

Girl About Town is a "fabulous fuchsia" and a staple shade in MAC's perm line, if you ask me.

Dubonnet is a nice brownish-toned red - more subdued than something like, say, Russian Red. Personally, I find this one a bit drying for my tastes, but the colour is lovely.

Chatterbox is a bright bubblegum pink - fun!

Aaaaand, that pretty much rounds out my MAC lipstick collection, dudes. There are a few odd shades that missed their appropriate groups, plus my two lacquers and lipmix. Any desire for me to do a series with my MAC glosses? If so, hit up the comment box!
