Tutorial Time Again! Platinum Emeralds?

Ok, folks. You're gonna have to tell me if you like this stuff or hate it, but so far any feedback on my tutorial attempt action has been positive, so here's another! Bet you weren't expecting this so soon after the last, huh? :D

Here's the look we're going for today:

So let's hop to it!

Follow up:

As per usual, I'm going to leave it up to you to apply your lid primer/shadow base of choice ahead of time. I trust you know that step without my help! :D

Using a damp flat, stiff brush, pat a silver-toned shadow across your lid. I'm using MAC's Platinum pigment, but wouldn't hesitate to use another silver. Just make sure it doesn't have funky undertones, k? I'm using it wet and patting it on to allow the metallic finish gleam as much as possible, because it's awesome that way. :D

Now with a 217 blending brush, I'm putting Emerald Green pigment through the crease and blending. Blend, blend, blend. Ahhh, yes! You know what I'm going to say here: any emerald green shadow will work! This one has some shimmer, but not too much.

With the same brush, I'm pulling the Emerald Green onto the outer portion of my lower lashline. I do this with quite a light touch so that only the tips of my tapered brush touch my skin, which means I do get a huge smudge under my eyes!

Time to install your highlight shade! As is common for me, I'm using a matte highlight (Blanc Type shadow) to help balance out the shimmer I've got going on.

Picking up my 217 again, I tap it into my pan of matte black eyeshadow and blend that lightly through the outer part of my crease. This helps to work the silver and green together neatly, and adds dimension.

Now, grab a smallish crease brush. Don't want something too big, yo! With it, I'm using some Urban Decay Acid Rain eyeshadow (a light, shimmery yellow-green) to soften the top edge of the emerald green. It also adds a yummy sheen there!

While I'm at it with the Acid Rain, let's use a wee fluff brush to fill in the inner portion of the lower lashline and decorate the tear duct.

I don't want to do full-on liner on my lower lashline, but I also don't want to leave it this light. So, I'm going to use a shimmer-free dark, cool green (Femme Noir) and a fine-edged brush to smudge a bit of a line on the outer lower lashline.

Grabbing my 217 one more time, I'm just going to toss a bit of the Femme Noir into my crease to soften the black there. This step could definitely be skipped, I just felt like doing it. :D

Liner time! Top lashline and waterline go black. Also, I did my brows at this point. (Pssst, I have to say: I love how the colours show in this shot!)

Finally, a lick of black mascara. Om nom nom.

And, well, that's about it!

If you decide to replicate this look, I'd love to see it! As always, comments are totally welcome. :)
