Better Than Sparkling Snow!

Snow, when it is pristine and clean, is very pretty to look at. It catches the light and shimmers away. However, there is one big problem: it's bloody cold. It also will get you wet and it can be quite the inconvenience. Blech! Can't we just have the pretty look without the mess?

My cosmetic-loving brain,. of course, immediately thought of eyeshadow. Hmmm. What the heck, I'll go with it! May I direct your attention to Make Up For Ever's white diamond shadow, shade 301?

Follow up:

Described on Sephora as white with chrome shimmer, this shadow really does remind me of snow (to look at, that is). As with most of the Make Up For Ever shadows I've laid my claws on, this shadow is silky smooth and well pigmented. It can be blended out or layered up a bit to be blindingly white (egads! Get the sunglasses!). It's a bit too frosty for my tastes to perform as a brow highlight, but I'm all for it to highlight the tear duct or as a lid colour.

I normally stick to other brands like Urban Decay and MAC for my shimmery shadows, but I'm definitely digging this. What do you think?
