Enough of This! I'm Going to Get Baked

Ok, who let me live this long without getting Urban Decay's Get Baked? Seriously, though. If only for the shadows! Half-Baked and Baked are both so silky smooth and pigmented and glowing that I can't get enough of them at the moment. I like that Twice-Baked had just enough glitter to make it sparkle, but not enough that I'm inducted into fall-out city. And we can't forget Flipside, that sexy shimmery teal beast!

The little sample bottle of Sin primer potion is cute, and I can imagine it'll be a good buddy during days when I'm in a hurry and just want a lick of shimmer on the lids - I often use the shadow Sin for that! But enough of that: let's test this out on my face, shall we?

Follow up:

Mmm, flash images from 7am. Girl's gotta work, y'know! I used all four shadows from the palette, plus the Bourbon liner, black mascara and MAC's Blanc Type shadow. Blush is a mixture of UD Afterglow blushes in X and Paranoid, with lips being UD XXX Shine gloss in Carney. I'd normally not wear this much warm on my face at once, but whatevs!

Twice-Baked actually is surprisingly soft (and much sheerer than its palette mates) when blended out, but it's still buildable. Here it looks shimmery like everything else because of the silly flash, but it was soft and mostly matte. This turned out a lovely soft, bronzed eye. Everything blended like a dream! I think this palette does indeed make me look "baked" as it brings out the red in my waterline (particularly the Bourbon liner).

I set the liner on both my top lid and waterline with Twice-Baked shadow to help keep it from being smudge-city on me, and it also helped tame the inflamed look a bit. :D Don't get me wrong, it's quite lovely, it's just a bit warm for my colouring. All things considered, I stand by the thought of, "how did I go this long without this palette!?" I'm completely addicted to Baked eyeshadow at this point, by the way. Mmmm.
