Let's Make a Rainbow Together!

Rainbows are pretty, right? Let's make pretty!! Yes, indeed. This is a tutorial for the EOTD I posted on Sunday. Sorry, not a video, but it's something?

This is our goal. Want to see how we're going to get there?

Follow up:

Having already laid down the base of my choice over my entire lid, I'm applying a shimmery golden green over the lid. This is MAC's Lucky Green.

Using a blending brush, I'm putting a purpley blue through the crease and slightly above the crease. I'd love to use MAC Atlantic Blue or MUFE 159, for example, but since I have neither I'm using MAC Climate Blue.

Lightly blend a shimmery blue-teal onto the outer third of the lid, layered over the Lucky Green. I used MAC Blue Absinthe.

Again with a blending brush, put a medium purple into the crease between the purpley-blue and the lid colours, focussing it in the outer half of the crease. I'm using MAC Satellite Dreams.

Using a finer-tipped blending brush, apply a bright pink shade of some sort to the inner portion of the lid, over the Lucky Green. I'm using MAC's Romping (released with C-Shock and Hello Kitty). Blend it gently into the inner crease to meet with the purple.

Highlight time! I'm using a golden highlight (Solar White) and blending it into the blue above the crease. This make a nice green gradient! Yum.

Black eyeliner of your choice. Gel, liquid, whatever. It's black. Top lid liner. Wooo!

Now let's hit up the naked lower lashline. Using a soft, shimmery yellow and a wee brush, colour the tear duct and the inner third of the lower lashline. I used MAC Going Bananas. Nylon or Rice Paper could work, too, or MUFE 10 or a bajillion other shades.

Same wee brush, this time with some orange! Middle lower lashline. I happen to be using MAC Sunsplosion.

And to finish off the lower lashline, a reddish-pink for the outer third. I'm using MAC's Passionate.

Make Up For Ever Aqua Eyes in 0L is my choice of black pencil. Whatever yours is, darken that waterline, yeah?

What the heck! Let's curl them lashes. :D

Mascara time! Black, of course, top lashes and lower.

Look, dudes, we're done! From start to finish, that's how she goes.

Please ignore my wet, wet lashes from my leaky eyes. So, what do you think? Got yourself a nice little rainbow now? Confused by any part? Hit me up with any questions, comments or requests! :D
