Sonic Bloom Steals My Heart Faster Than a HedgehogToday I'm bringing you another NOTD, plus a bonus picture of my rack! Woooo! ![]() Isn't she gorgeous? A turquoisey-blue base that flashes green in direct light and a muted pink in low light, this polish reminds me a bit of a pearl, and is totally captivating. You think it looks hot on the nail? The bottle is even better! Follow up: ![]() Look at that! Stunning. Sonic Bloom applies smoothly and evenly, but it's hella sheer. On the bright side, this also means it's gorgeous as a layering polish (trust, I've tried it!). This is something like four coats (eep!) to get opacity. Still, I think it's lovely and worth the time, particularly since I did the painting while watching Farscape. Even those awesome Jim Henson puppet characters couldn't keep me from admiring my nails every now and then. Dude! ![]() This picture isn't the sharpest, but it shows the colours decently. I'm really excited that even though this polish is sheer, the colour shifts are still visible on the nail, and not just in the bottle as some polishes are. Mmm, yummy. Oh, and as promised? My rack! ![]() Until my packages get here (IF THEY EVER MAKE IT) of all the polishes I recently bought (eek, it's something like 22! :o), this is the majority of my polish collection. Can you tell I love colour!? So how are all of you today? Yesterday it felt like I received a gift from the gods, as I was finally handed my benefits card for my job. Score! Hey, it made me happy. What do you think of Sonic Bloom? Any Farscape fans reading this? 6 comments! :D
slave2beauty, haha, I don't think it's to die for - then you couldn't admire it! It may be worth killing for, though. *shifty eyes*
