Concealer In A Jar

Heyyyy! Let's talk about concealer, yo: I like it pigmented, blendable and plentiful. Affordable helps, too. All the better is if it actually matches my skin, but I don't really expect that from many lines. :p I'd read some good things about NYX Concealer in a Jar and have been giving it a whirl in the palest shade, Porcelene.

How does it fare?

Follow up:

Well, it's definitely affordable, being a NYX product. It's creamy enough that it blends easily, but not so creamy that it slides off of whatever you're trying to hide. Pigmentation is surprisingly full, and it covers blemishes with ease. With 7 grams of product, the jar lasts quite a while, too!

On the downside, this stuff oxidizes - meaning, once on the skin, it gets darker and more yellow. Damn! In the jar and on first swatch, it looks like it comes decently close to matching my pale, pinky skin respectably. Give it thirty seconds, though, and it's pretty obvious where I've applied it. If I just left it at that, I'd start to resemble a cheetah, but without the speed. Hmmm, bummer.

Still, I have to give this little dude props, because coverage and staying power are better than some much more expensive concealers I've tried in the past. If you can't find a good colour match, know that it stays well enough on the skin that foundation can be put over it without wiping it away.

So, it appears this is another point for NYX! I don't love all the NYX products I've tried, but I'm certainly not opposed to this one - in fact, I think it may well be the best inexpensive concealer I've used. Now my question to you is: what's your favourite inexpensive concealer? Concealer in general?
