Scrubbity Scrub, Yo!![]() Let's get scrubby with it! Today I've got Firefly on dvd playing while I write this, but you probably aren't concerned about that. Can I just say that I frigging love that show and most of its cast? Srsly, though. On the other hand, I have this product from Peter Lamas to poke at. It's meant for your face! To make it smoother! Check it out: Follow up: ![]() Really, the very first thing I was drawn to about this product is that it claims to scrub and exfoliate. Hot cheesy crackers! Now, initially this instilled the giggles as it seemed pretty superfluous, but upon reading the ingredients, I think I figured it out: it exfoliates both manually and chemically. There are little grainy bits, as well as pumpkin enzymes and stuff like that. Oooh, baby! Two for one? Hells to the yeah! ![]() I've got to be honest, though: this stuff really reminds me of cake batter. It smells just like it, and it's thick and awkward in texture. Have you used a cleanser or something before that you felt like it just wouldn't rinse clean? That's definitely what I felt to be going on here. Plus, in spite of the variety of exfoliants, I didn't feel like it did a very good job of removing the dead skin cells on my face. On the bright side, it has no parabens? And two certified organic ingredients! |
