NOTD: China Glaze Blue ParadiseOh, Blue Paradise. I have such mixed feelings toward you. On the one hand, you're a lovely medium shimmery blue. On the other hand, your formula is rather disappointing. ![]() NOTD: China Glaze Meteor ShowerOooh, more glitter!? HELL YES. I've been all over the glitters for my nails lately, and this one is another goody. A dark navy with, again, multi-coloured glitter in different shapes and sizes? Dudes, what's not to love! Come to think of it, I need to try layering this over Illamasqua Phallic, one of my favourite polishes. Mmmm. Oh, I'm sorry, am I teasing you? You don't just want to see the bottle? Well, alright - Pigment Party! Round 2Here you go! Next installment of the pigment product photos. Oooh, baby! Let's get a bit more colour in here this time, shall we? ![]() EOTD: Mmmm, Blue and Green![]() You're probably wondering, "What on earth is... is that her finger nail? Why is that in the picture!?" The simple answer is: to stop a sneezing fit so I could take pictures. Pressure on the nose, no more sneezing, more pictures - hurray! Blurry pictures don't really do much for me or you. Star Makeup Haven SwatchesWell i've been living under a rock for the last few weeks, I guess depression can do that to you. Anyway i'm a little better and want to post about this new brand of makeup I ordered off the net. I love to support little companies and try new products. The site is Star Makeup Haven. They have cheap eyeshadow that is comparable to Mac and other brands. Same size pan and each shadow is only $4.95us. They let you build a customizable palette, which I did. The shipping was decent and I would order from them again. But after getting 15 shadows for around $50us i'm good for now. MAC Pigments - Part 2Same deal as yesterday, dudes. No base, top row applied dry, bottom applied wet. Now for colours!!! ![]() Steel Blue, Forest Green, Teal, Teal Ok, so, Steel Blue. Crazy chunky, frigging ton of fallout used dry. Used wet? It is GLORIOUS! Superbly smooth golden blue hotness. Now, the teals. Way to be consistent, MAC. Usually the vials of pigments match their jar friends, but not here! As you can see, the Teal released in a vial with Little Darlings last holiday season does not match up to the permanent version at all. Yikes. Mac Trend F/W 09 Collection Review and Swatches![]() Boom!! Another quad graces our presence. With Makeup Art and Cosmetics 3 quads making a little happy threesome this dark and delicious wonder scares them all away. If you want to achieve the dark blue/grey smokey eye for fall this is a given. It houses A Warmer White which Mac calls a pale green grey...I don't see any green, Tone:Grey which is a nice mid-tone grey, Waft a nice dark blue grey and The Right Smoke which is almost Deep Truth but has white pearl. I didn't pick this guy up as I have tons of blues and greys but it's a nice starter quad that has everything you need for a smokey eye. MAC Lustre Lip SwatchesAnd here, my friends, are the lustres. Glossy, sheer, moisturising, I find these to really be quite a lovely formula. As such, I have... a handful? ![]() ![]() Make-Up Art Cosmetics Swatches![]() WOOOO! Crappy swatch time! Forgot my cam, so I had to get these home to photograph. Ech. Sorry, dudes. Also, if my internet doesn't stop crapping out, I'm going to go a little insane. Cargo Barcelona PaletteI haven't posted in a few days it's so hot upstairs I barely come on my computer. I just waste my day playing Nintendo DS or watching tv. Yes, i'm not a very good role model. Anyway I swatched my go to vacation palette this and Macs Spiced Chocolate quad are my two saviors on trips. ![]() |
