Amplified Creme Swatches! A favourite formula for many, Amplified Cremes are richly pigmented, shimmer-free and have a touch of glossy shine to them. I personally find some to be very moisturizing, while others leave my lips parched (like Blankety, which looks like frigging DEATH on me). So many great colours, though! Love Impassioned, as seen above, for it is so bright it is nearly neon. Coco Beach and Maroon Pigment Swatches Welcome! Maroon is the reddish one in the back/on the right (depends on pic). Coco Beach is the golden brown. Swatched both dry and wet (dry on the right above). Coco Beach shimmers like MAD. Pure sex used wet. Maroon is meh. Maroon shows its colour best in the bright flashy pic. Smashbox Doubletake Lip Color in Currant So, I finally got to check out the new Reign collection that Smashbox is offering this fall. Some very nice things in this collection. I found many dupable items because I have some makeup already, but their eyeshadows were soft and pigmented and the jet set liners were creamy and in very neutral colours. The blush didn't seem that unique to me, and the other lip pencil in Amaretto seemed like a colour I already owned. But the packaging is to die for! If you're a package whore, then stay away or you will be tempted to buy. The only thing I came home with was the Doubletake Lip Color in Currant. It's such a rich shade of red berry, I had to have it. |
