Remember I posted swatches of the Urban Decay Ultraglide glosses in Heat and Lust a little while back? Here's a lip swatch of Lust!

Pretty, right? Thanks Urban Decay!

Lip Lust: Bobbi Brown Bare Shimmer

Bare Shimmer, yo. Aptly named as Bobbi products tend to be. This gloss isn't excessively shiny or super sticky, though it is rather thick. The light tint neutralizes my natural lip shade and gives them some shimmer. Added bonus? Has SPF15! Dude, I love sunscreen!

This is pretty for a quick, subtle lip. Thoughts?

Lip Lust: MAC Shift to Pink

Ok, um, hello lover!! Shift to Pink is a limited edition lipgelee with MAC's MAC in Lillyland collection. It's super freaking sparkly, and a lavender pink - a colour I can't get enough of in lip products! The lipgelees are my favourite of the MAC lipglosses, because they come in sanitary squeeze tubes full of plenty of non-sticky, shiny gloss. Yum!

If you love the shimmer of dazzleglasses but hate the stickiness, higher price for less product and goopy brush, you NEED to check out the MAC in Lillyland lipgelees! Seriously, dudes, I had to own this.

Lip Lust: Bobbi Brown Sandwash Pink

Man, Bobbi's really all over the creative naming for shades, right? This colour is a muted pink, and is actually a bit brown for my tastes.

Super creamy, not at all drying, no shimmer. Heyyyyy! This wears better than the metallic lip colour I showed you yesterday, but it's still not record breaking or anything like that. I imagine this shade would be better on someone a bit darker than I am, as on me it looks too obviously like I'm trying for a non-obvious lipstick, y'know?

What do you think?

Lip Lust: Bobbi Brown Beige Gold

18/01/10, Permalink 07:00:00 pm, by Sanayhs, Categories: Lip Lust

Shall we continue the golden theme of the day? I think yes! Let's take a peek at Bobbi Brown's metallic lip colour lipstick in the shade "Beige Gold". It imparts a sheer, golden shine over my natural lip colour, and the beige in it keeps it from being unbearably warm for me. Also, it keeps it from being along the lines of "LOOK AT MAH YELLOW-GOLD LIPS!", which I can hardly envision as being particularly hot. Bling bling?

The formula is nice and moist, and not at all drying. Hurray! It wears decently, but not outlandishly well. It's glossy enough that I don't feel the need to slap another product over it, and it really is very comfortable to wear. Bonus of being lipstick and not a gloss? No hair stuck to my face! Overall, I give this a thumb's up. :)

How 'bout you? Tried any Bobbi Brown lipstick? Dig the golden shine to the lips?

A makeup staple for many people seems to be the perfect pale pink lip. It's a pretty pop of colour that goes with pretty much anything - without being a neutral. For me, that perfect pale pink (be it lipstick or gloss) is smashbox's Pout.

Lip Lust: Pink Manish

Lookie here! MAC's Pink Manish lipglass, from the crazy limited Manish Arora collection they did. It's pretty, but nothing to go insane for, I dare say. Medium shimmery pink, with a nice level of opacity - sheer enough to layer, pigmented enough to wear solo. Not as bright and wacky as the Fafi gloss I've seen it compared to, at least not on me. Pretty packaging on this tube is a plus! So there you go, pink shimmery lips. ;)

Lip Lust: MUFE lipstick 207

One of my favourite red lipsticks, simply because I adore the formula and colour both:

Every time I wear one of my MUFE reds (I also have 205), I marvel at how long it wears, and how it doesn't dry out my lips! This here is a single coat - totally opaque and lovely with its slightly glossy finish. Love it!

This post brought to you in part by a reader request. ;) I'm working on another one that should hopefully come your way soon, and am totally up for more if you want to throw them at me!
