Just Can't Quit (More Pigments!)That's right, more pigments have joined the family! And, of course, I have pictures for you all. There's still roughly 40 I don't have even a sneeze of, by the way. I keep an up-to-date and comprehensive list. ![]() Ruby Red. Too pinky to be true red, but I love the sparkle! Warming Up a Grey Day (FOTD)Happy Monday, all! I had a weekend full of work, sleep, my dad's birthday, a Mardi Gras party and more! The cake for my dad's birthday had rum in it, and well, the leftovers he sent home with me have scented my entire fridge... eep! Anyhow, to get back on track, I thought I'd show you all I still have a face: ![]() The blue shirt with this makeup makes me giggle, but oh well. I did my makeup and snapped these photos before I got dressed for work. The focus of this is definitely the lip - featuring Viva Glam Cyndi! New FriendsGUYS! I'm super excited. I just got me some new pigments, yo. They're so pretty! And, of course, I simply HAD to share pictures! ![]() Yes, that is Green. Isn't she beautiful? This, obviously, is the frost version. Shell Pearl Brings Soft SmilesMan, MAC sure seems to love their Shell Pearl beauty powder. Not that I'm complaining, but this is scheduled to be repromoted for the bajillionth time (that's an estimate) with Give Me Liberty of London this coming spring. I thought I'd offer my thoughts (and swatch action!) of this powder for anyone who hasn't yet seen it, and may be wondering about it given its pending repromote. ![]() First off, what does one do with a beauty powder? Here's this large compact of powder and... what's the deal? A beauty powder serves different functions depending on the skintone and the pigmentation of the particular beauty powder in question. With less pigmented beauty powders, the lightest of skintones can use them as a soft blush, without any worry that there will be too much colour if the application is haphazard. On skintones for which it is too pale to be a blush, it can be used all over the face to brighten the complexion or buffed over a blush shade to soften it and diffuse the colour. The effect is really very pretty. If the beauty powder happens to be shimmery (some are, some aren't), it can also be used as a highlighter. More pigmented beauty powders can be used for a very natural flush of colour on many skintones, and can again be used to buff out blushes on those who actually have plenty of melanin in their skin. Pigment Party Stragglers (Round 11!)Tsk tsk, these guys missed the bus so they're a bit late to the party. Hopefully this is the end of them! I mean, I don't think I've missed any of what I have. Hmm. Right! So here, to finish out the pigment party, are three more pigments and one glitter. ![]() This isn't over yet!? Pigment Party Round 10!!Aaaand now some more neutral shades. Fun fact: Jardin Aires was my very first-ever pigment. ![]() Tags: blonde's gold, cocomotion, coppersparkle, dazzle ray, gold mode, jardin aires, lily white, mac, melon, pigment party, pigments, tan, tea time

Round 8Pigment Party goes green! Round 7After purple, my heart goes out to the colour green. Blue-greens, golden greens, olive greens, dusky or bright, I love them all. Let's look at some of these lovers, shall we? ![]() Pigments Keep On Partying! Round 6, yoMmm, some nice rich shades. I'm very cool-toned, I know, but I'm addicted to rich, warm shades like this. I think they're gorgeous!
