NOTD: China Glaze Midnight RideI'd like you to meet the shade that was my very first China Glaze polish: Midnight Ride. A deep, dark blackened purple that shimmers when the light catches it. In low light, it can be mistaken for a shade of black. It's a bit of a beast to try to capture to my satisfaction, but here's what I've got for you:  I find application of this deliciously smooth and even, and the polish is pleasantly pigmented. Two coats makes for a rich opacity, but one thick coat could suffice in a hurry. As with all my China Glaze polishes, it wears well. I come back to this shade again and again, for it offers the deep vampy appeal of a black, yet the purple gives it extra life (and looks better against my skin - score!). So much love, dudes. So much love. NOTD: New Year's Eve NailsI've long had a love affair with China Glaze's Midnight Ride - a deep, dark blackened purple that is smooth and pigmented. For New Year's Eve, however, I decided to kick it up a bit, with the help of one of the China Glaze glitters! EOTD: Mmmm, Blue and Green You're probably wondering, "What on earth is... is that her finger nail? Why is that in the picture!?" The simple answer is: to stop a sneezing fit so I could take pictures. Pressure on the nose, no more sneezing, more pictures - hurray! Blurry pictures don't really do much for me or you. Project Purple: Pencil Party!Liiiiiiiiiiners! Pencil liners! Easy to store, travel with, wield... So of course I've gotta have a bunch of purples on hand!  Miss Fortune pearlglide, Bordeauxline powerpoint, Fab Orchid/Dash Lily double ended pencil Lots of purpley options! And glitter! I loveeeee the colours of the double ended pencil, but honestly? It's kind of a bitch. The dark side is insanely smudgey, and the sparkly side is really hard so if you just grab it and try to apply, it'll probably hurt. Project Purple Continues: Assorted Shadow SwatchesHi everyone! Hope you had a super awesome weekend. I'm still sceptical you all aren't sick of looking at smears of purple on my arm, but since you said to keep going... I will! Today are various non-MAC pressed purple shadow swatches (and one glitter liner!).
