MAC Paints SwatchesHere within you will find swatches of every single MAC paint I know to exist. If you know of one that I do not, PLEASE let me know! ![]() More Swatches Because I'm Just That LameHands down out of these, the Electric quad is my favourite. Also, I may be the only one to feel this way, but I think vertigo is mildly hilarious. ![]() Some of the shades from the Tokidoki collab quads (Modella and Celebrita) need to be used with a stiff brush - a soft one like, say, a MAC 239 won't get you far ("WHERE IS THE PAYOFF!?"). As you can see, though, when applied with something firmer, they show up fine. The pale yellow in the Modella quad almost has this fun green iridescence to it. The whitish shade from Celebrita has a gentle pink iridescence to it. Basically, fun stuff, dudes. My apologies that the FOTDs I had planned for this week and other stuff have simply not come to fruition. I feel frigging lame. Kat Von D Beethoven Palette![]() ![]() I like this palette, I have to say. It has a pretty variety of shades in different finishes, and they all have decent colour payoff. I like colour payoff! And I LOVE a decent palette! Whilst the shades are not ZOMG UNIQUE, they are all quite nice and usable, and the 8 of them give many options for combinations. They apply smoothly and I have no troubles blending them, which is always a plus. My primary concern with these is that unless you use a strong base, the colours can fade and bleed together a bit after a few hours - but this is certainly something you can likely avoid by playing with different shadow bases. For the $34 price tag, I think this palette is well worth the money and certainly a decent purchase. Unlike some of the other Kat Von D palettes, all of these shadows are powder. Also, if you're a fan of using included brushes with a palette, you should note that this plan won't work here - the brushes are utter crap, and are more something I'd expect to find in a lip palette. So, in short, use your own brushes and a strong base, and you'll likely be decently please (especially if you wait til Sephora has a sale!). Swatches, of course, are under the cut. Makeup Forever Aqua EyesToday little Chad went on a lovely little adventure. I swatched up all of my Sephora's Aqua Eyes, and am here to show you them! Along with a review of what I experienced!
MAC Shadow Swatches Pt 4This is the end, yo, unless I mosey back to the mall to reattempt the missing highlights. If you have any requests for the next swatch series, leave 'em and I'll see if I can do them! Sadly, Halifax is limited in its cosmetic selection. ![]() Honey Lust, All That Glitters, Honesty, Kid, Wedge, Sable, Quarry, Haux, Twinks Fluidline SwatchesFluidlines hold a special place in my heart - they were the first makeup item I truly got hooked on. I can't exactly tell you why now, but I adore them. The consistency, the colours, all of it. As such, I own all but one that MAC has ever put out! The missing one, by the way, is Dipdown - the permanent poopy brown shade. ![]() Top row: Frostlite, Sweet Sage, Shade, Delphic, Royal Wink, Waveline, Iris Eyes, Macroviolet, Delineate, Rich Ground, Graphic Brown, Blitz & Glitz, Blacktrack; Bottom row: Silverstroke, New Weed, Jadeye, Blue Peep, Penned, Haunting, Nonconformist, Uppity, Brassy, Ostentatious, Nightfish, Lithograph |
