MAC Pigments - Part 2Same deal as yesterday, dudes. No base, top row applied dry, bottom applied wet. Now for colours!!!  Steel Blue, Forest Green, Teal, Teal Ok, so, Steel Blue. Crazy chunky, frigging ton of fallout used dry. Used wet? It is GLORIOUS! Superbly smooth golden blue hotness. Now, the teals. Way to be consistent, MAC. Usually the vials of pigments match their jar friends, but not here! As you can see, the Teal released in a vial with Little Darlings last holiday season does not match up to the permanent version at all. Yikes. MAC Paints SwatchesHere within you will find swatches of every single MAC paint I know to exist. If you know of one that I do not, PLEASE let me know!  Love that Look Swatches & DupesLove that Look released a week early, so rain or shine I went to my Mac counter. I swatched everything and was very careful driving home and not rubbing my arms against stuff...I'm pretty sure people think i'm more crazy now. Anyway these are the best swatches I can do, it hasn't stopped raining all week. So no sun equals less impressive swatches. I find these are pretty accurate. I also dd some dupes so you guys can try to save money.  Urban Decay Cream ShadowsOn my last vacation I aquired 2 Urban Decay Cream Shadows in the colors Mushroom and Whipped. Mushroom is described as gunmetal with taupe shift and iridescent glitter and Whipped is described as golden peach with subtle gold microsparkle. Urban Decay Cream Shadows have a gel-based consistancy. I wore mushroom today, and I all can say is these little shadows are tricky to apply. I made the mistake of using my finger to blend and it turned into a crazy mess. I wiped it off and re-applied just using the sponge tip applicator that comes with each shadow and just blending out the harsh edges with my new Mac 226. Turned out much better the 2nd time around. Still working on a flawless technique to apply these suckers. I really like the idea of cream shadows, I'm a lazy girl most of the time and I just love to slap on one product and call it a day.  Smashbox ShadowsUnfortunately, I'm sick and my allergies are all wonky. As such, you have to deal with my lack of face. I love my handful of Smashbox shadows! Here are some swatches of 3 singles, a trio, a mini-duo and a full size duo. The shade you can't really see with the trio is akin to MAC's yogurt, but smoother and a touch less pink, and Envy actually has rainbow glitter. Hopefully my eyes are human-sized tomorrow!
